FOR A DOCUMENTATION ENGINEER
THE
JOB
·
Generate high quality aerospace
technical documentation and reports in accordance with customer and internal
standards
·
Co-ordinate and take editorial
ownership for technical responses to customer enquiries, including Sales
proposals
·
Prepare project data items and co-ordinate
submissions
·
Prepare progress reports
·
Maintain and control a library of
published documents and data
·
Establish a uniform standard of
presentation and format for documentation
THE
PERSON
·
Recognised qualification in Electrical
or Mechanical Engineering
·
Three or more years experience in a
similar position
·
Confident and highly competent user of
MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
·
Able to write clear and concise
technical English
·
Experience in preparation of aerospace
technical documentation preferable – in particular in accordance with Airbus or
Boeing requirements
·
Able to work from Engineers’ notes and
verbal briefings to produce finished documentation
·
Able to work
under pressure, establish and achieve timescales for tasks
·
Excellent interpersonal
skills; able to work within project teams and to interface effectively at all
levels and disciplines
