VACANCY FOR AN ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

THE JOB

· Report to the Project Control Manager and form part of a small project management team

· Motivate multi-disciplinary project teams

· Prepare and present reports to customers and liaise with as necessary

· Ensure timely and to-cost design, development & productionisation of new products

· Service both new and existing business

THE PERSON

· HND or degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering

· Formal project management training

· Experience of managing introduction of new products in a manufacturing company

· Experience in use of project management tools

· Able to make convincing presentations at all levels

· Experience of Proposal preparation

· Experience in aerospace, defence or electronics industries

THE PACKAGE

· The salary will be commensurate with the skills & experience of the successful candidate

· 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, Sick Pay Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, contributory pension scheme, subsidised canteen, and 37.5 hour basic working week with lunchtime finish on Fridays
